Jack O'Donnell

Jack is a Certified Financial Planner™. He joined Upstart Wealth Management in early 2022 after he discovered a passion for helping clients sort through the complexities of the startup world and the equity compensation packages that come along with it.

Prior to Upstart, Jack refined his craft at two large wealth management firms, where he advised high-net-worth clients in investment management and estate and tax planning. Having worked alongside clients from many walks of life, he understands that everyone views and defines wealth differently. He enjoys discovering how clients define wealth and working together to develop a framework to make sound financial decisions. He graduated from Virginia Tech with degrees in accounting and finance.

A fan of adventure and betting on yourself, in 2018, Jack decided to move from New Jersey to San Diego, having no ties to the city. He fell in love with the spectacular beaches, sunsets, and sites San Diego has to offer. In his free time, you can find Jack taking advantage of the beautiful outdoors by staying active, or simply relaxing on the beach!
